Yes, I realize that Mattel is releasing a Tomar-Re with the DC Universe Classics Green Lantern’s Light 5-pack that should be hitting Wal-Mart any day now. From a customs standpoint, I have had a current streak exactly bra underwear where customs I’ve created or commissioned are actually cruelly announced as upcoming retail figures by Mattel – see Sinestro and Riddler from Giants of Doom, our group entry to CustomCon 26. But in Tomar-Re’s situation, it was deliberate.

Even though I feel the upcoming number is just fine, it wasn’t really the representation of Tomar-Re that I desired. Earliest, the head is a slightly tweaked reuse from the Romat-Ru head sculpt from your Colour of Fear 2-pack. It has the mask extra, but not quite in the proper shape for Tomar-Re. And I’m not a fan on the screaming head – to me, Tomar-Re was a calming influence from the Green Lantern Corps.

So I built my personal, using what are most likely quite clear selections for fodder – a standard GL entire body from your Abin Sur / Hal Jordan 2-pack, and Romat-Ru head and hands.

Wow! We got a whole 2 captions last week! Okay, so possibly this is often a sign that this little weekly game has operate its course. But I thought we’d give it an additional chance and see if items strengthen.
